Kam’s story is one of unexpected hardships and perseverance. When football was taken away from him, he could have easily been bitter about the hand he was dealt. Instead, he found strength in his faith and pursued a whole new purpose by being the man God called him to be. Ruby breaks down how a right understanding of work is foundational to living out God’s call for authentic masculinity.

  • When it comes to masculinity, the call to lead and show strength often takes center stage. But men are also called to embody God’s love. • In this lesson, Kam spends time with Erik Dellenback, the Governor’s Liaison for Faith and Community in the state of Florida. Before his work with the executive office of the Governor, Erik helped start the Tim Tebow Foundation and sits on the board of Chris and Lauren Tomlin’s For Others Foundation. • In this lesson, Kam steps into the boxing ring with internationally renowned Christian hip-hop artist KB to find out what being a husband is all about. • When Kam Babb was at his lowest, it was an Uber driver named Darnell Dees who had the courage to ask Kam if he could pray for him. In this lesson, Kam reconnects with Darnell to talk about men’s call to share hope in their role as reconciler.

  • One of the great paradoxes of the Christian faith is that in order to lead, we must be willing to go to the back of the line. In this episode, Man Up and Go CEO Jeff Ford talks with legendary NFL coach and broadcaster Tony Dungy while trying to catch some fish. The two talk about how fulfilling the role of a servant leader is crucial to living out Jesus’ vision of masculinity.

  • We believe that the Church can end fatherlessness. But doing so will take more than participating in another bible study that simply educates or inspires you—Patros is about action. Whether it’s gathering other men together to share information, giving your resources, or going out in the world to serve the fatherless, you have the ability to make a difference for the next generation.
